SwitchingWhat happens to my existing website while you build the new one?

Nothing changes. Your existing website stays live and exactly as it is the whole time we build your new one. We only start the switch once you have approved the new site.

SwitchingCan I keep my current domain name?

Yes. If you already own your domain, you keep it. You can transfer it to us, or leave it where it is and point it to us. We help you either way.

SwitchingWhat happens to my email?

If you use your domain for email, we take that into account before anything changes, so your email keeps working through the move. We tell you what is needed in advance.

SwitchingDo I need to contact my existing website provider?

Usually not. Occasionally a step needs you, such as approving a domain transfer or confirming access, and when it does we tell you exactly what to do. We manage the move rather than leaving you to work it out.

Price & termsWhat happens if I don't like the preview?

Then you do not take it, and you owe nothing. Your existing website stays exactly as it is. That is the whole point of building it first.

The website built for you, UK hosting, SSL security, domain registration or connection, a mobile-friendly design, your business and service pages, an enquiry form, search-friendly setup, and all routine maintenance.

Price & termsIs there a minimum term?

There is an initial 12-month term. After that, it is 30 days' notice to cancel.

After it's liveWho owns my domain?

You do. Your domain is yours to keep. If you ever decide to leave, we arrange its transfer to your new provider.

After it's liveWhat happens if I want changes later?

Just message us with what you would like changed, such as new prices, new photos or a new phone number, and we make the change for you. Routine changes are part of the monthly price and there is no editor for you to learn.

After it's liveDoes the website include SEO?

Yes. Every build includes search-friendly setup, a clean structure, fast loading and mobile-friendly pages, so you can be found on Google. More advanced, ongoing SEO work is available as a separate service.
